For Babies..

Our purpose built Baby & Toddler unit is designed to be bright, cheerful and stimulating. We have been careful to provide a variety of educational & musical toys to enhance your child’s development. The baby room gives children the opportunity from a very early age, to explore different textures and mediums, learning from their first hand experiences.

There isplenty of opportunity for hugs and cuddles! Provision is made for rest and quiet times when soft toys and soothing music will help to encourage peaceful sleep.

Parents are expected to supply nappies and a complete named change of clothes for their child. For the bottle fed baby we would ask for a supply of ‘made up’ bottles on a daily basis and any comforters’ i.e dummies, blankets, teddies.

We have a full time Cook who provides a balanced, nutritious menu for children, with all food freshly prepared on the premises. Your Key Person will work closely alongside you to establish routines that best suit the needs of both you and your baby.

For Toddlers..

At approximately 12 months of age, your child will move into the Toddler room..
The transition from the Baby Unit to the Toddler Room is sensitively managed and timed according to your child’s individual needs. Your Key Person will discuss the move beforehand with you and take into account your wishes.

One your child progresses to our Toddler room, routines reflect the fact that they are developing at a rapid pace. More and more activities are introduced with new experiences and opportunities allowing them to explore and discover things for themselves.

Children discover language and begin sharing their thoughts and ideas with others, beginning to use different senses and tools for communication. Children’s creativity and imagination are fostered through painting, construction and role play. As they gain more independence and confidence, we give them all the support they need.
